• Wine Advocate: A blend of ‘the best of’ Beckstoffer’s Las Piedras, Dr. Crane and To Kalon vineyards, 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Magnificent Seven sports a deep garnet-purple color and rock star nose of crème de cassis, baked plums, plum pudding and mulberries with hints of Chinese five spice, menthol, dark chocolate and dusty soil. Full-bodied and jam packed with expressive black fruit voices, it fills the mouth with exotic spice and earthy accents, finishing with a grainy texture and bags of character. 25 cases only were made.

Vice Versa was born in 2003 after a few years Patrice spent working alongside the influential winemaker Paul Hobbs. The hands-on education and experience he got with him went beyond skills and methodology. Introductions were made, an organic network of friendships with the industry’s most respected players was formed, and knowledge is continuously traded, which enables Vice Versa to craft the kinds of wines that originally sparked this journey.
