Description
The first commercial release of Pomaro—originally made as an experiment in Gustinella’s debut vintage and shared only privately until now. Sourced from a pergola-trained, 60–70 year-old Grenache vineyard in Bronte, on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, this rosato is produced in minuscule quantity: just280 bottles made.
Grapes are hand-harvested, pressed gently with minimal skin contact, and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel without temperature control. No fining or filtration; just a small sulfur addition at bottling. Vinified with the same sensitivity and clarity that defines the domaine’s red wines. A bright and quenching look at Grenache’s potential on volcanic soils,.
