This eight-year-old single malt is a testament to the people and craftsmanship that have shaped the legacy of Lagavulin over the course of two centuries. It is a bold and smoky whisky that celebrates the distillery’s rich history. The whisky opens with fragrant, tea-scented smoke and nose-drying maritime aromas. Inspired by Alfred Barnard’s visit to the distillery in the 1880s, during which he sampled an ‘exceptionally fine’ eight-year-old Lagavulin, this release serves as a fitting tribute to a significant milestone.
